After the addition of Lee Minwook, they introduced "Victory" on November 7, 2022 with two members, Jinkwon and Lee Minwook.
We talked to the duo:

KZ- How and why did you decide to enter the musical world?
Lee Minwook- When I was in high school, an audition announcement was made for a regular musical performance held at school. At the time, I had a different major and didn't have much experience with musicals. However, thanks to a friend's strong recommendation, I auditioned and was able to perform on stage. When I first participated in a musical performance, I felt a moving and fresh feeling that made my whole body tremble. Since then, I have been fascinated by the charm of musicals and have been practicing hard to get on stage.
KZ- Comment et pourquoi avez-vous décidé d'entrer dans le monde de la musique ?
Lee Minwook- Lorsque j'étais au lycée, une annonce d'audition a été faite pour un spectacle musical régulier organisé à l'école. À l'époque, j'avais une autre spécialité et je n'avais pas beaucoup d'expérience dans les comédies musicales. Cependant, grâce à la forte recommandation d'un ami, j'ai auditionné et j'ai pu me produire sur scène. Lorsque j'ai participé pour la première fois à une représentation musicale, j'ai ressenti une sensation émouvante et fraîche qui a fait trembler tout mon corps. Depuis lors, je suis fasciné par le charme des comédies musicales et je m'entraîne dur pour monter sur scène.
KZ- What are your talents besides singing and dancing?
Jinkwon- I think of it as acting. The process of researching and creating new characters is always fun. As I continue to audition for acting, I will show my good side in various works in the future.
Lee Minwook- I think I have a talent for acting and imitation of vocal chords. Ever since I was a kid, I loved observing celebrities and my friends. As a result, I naturally started to study people's facial expressions and tone of voice. And I think I'm using these talents in a good way when I'm acting.
KZ- Quels sont tes talents à part le chant et la danse ?
Jinkwon- Je vois cela comme de la comédie. Le processus de recherche et de création de nouveaux personnages est toujours amusant. Comme je continue à auditionner pour jouer, je montrerai mon bon côté dans diverses œuvres à l'avenir.
Lee Minwook - Je pense avoir un talent pour le jeu d'acteur et l'imitation des cordes vocales. Depuis que je suis enfant, j'aime observer les célébrités et mes amis. Par conséquent, j'ai naturellement commencé à étudier les expressions faciales et le ton de la voix des gens. Et je pense que j'utilise ces talents à bon escient lorsque je joue la comédie.
KZ- How has NewKidd changed from the first single "Newkidd" to "Victory"?
Jinkwon- It contains a sense of challenge to break one's own limits in various areas. In particular, in this new song, I was in charge of not only the vocals but also the rap part. We tried to show more diverse and more mature skills than our previous albums.
Lee Minwook- In terms of music, it was the first time I sang a song with such an intense and fast beat. It's the first time I greet you with a K-pop genre song, so I paid more attention and worked hard to prepare.
KZ- Comment NewKidd a-t-il changé entre le premier single "Newkidd" et "Victory" ?
Jinkwon- Il contient un sentiment de défi pour dépasser ses propres limites dans différents domaines. En particulier, dans cette nouvelle chanson, j'étais en charge non seulement du chant mais aussi de la partie rap. Nous avons essayé de montrer des compétences plus diverses et plus matures que dans nos précédents albums.
Lee Minwook- En termes de musique, c'était la première fois que je chantais une chanson avec un rythme aussi intense et rapide. C'est la première fois que je vous salue avec une chanson de genre K-pop, donc j'ai fait plus attention et travaillé dur pour me préparer.
Jinkwon- The new song 'Victory' is a hot and fresh song that shows the musical world of Newkidd well. The lyrics convey the message ‘No one is alone’, and contain a message of consolation that you will gain strength and courage from meeting and becoming more like each other and revealing your true self. I hope that the fans who listen to the song will also gain strength and courage. Lee Minwook- This is a new song that I greet as a member of Newkidd for the first time.
It's a colorful and passionate song with Spanish and Portuguese in it. As the music video was shot in Brazil, I think the song is full of passion. I think it would be good if everyone listened to the Latin message containing Newkidd's unique worldview and sang along with it.
KZ- Parlons de votre nouvel album "Victory", comment il a vu le jour.
Jinkwon- La nouvelle chanson "Victory" est une chanson chaude et fraîche qui montre bien le monde musical de Newkidd. Les paroles transmettent le message "Personne n'est seul", et contiennent un message de consolation selon lequel vous gagnerez en force et en courage en vous rencontrant et en devenant plus semblables les uns aux autres et en révélant votre véritable personnalité. J'espère que les fans qui écouteront cette chanson y gagneront aussi en force et en courage.

KZ- How was your experience in Brazil, what would you highlight the most?
Jinkwon- This was the second time I went to Brazil. In 2019, Newkid participated in the Brazilian Hallyu Festival and met Brazilian fans and had a really happy time.This year, I went to a samba festival that I had never been to before, and I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm of the field. So, I wanted to capture the energy I felt in Brazil in the music video.
Lee Minwook- It was a really happy experience. I came to realize that Brazil is a free country with a lot of freedom and lots of fun. Also, it is very memorable in that I was able to shoot dramas and music videos in Brazil and meet overseas fans in person. I want to visit Brazil again anytime.
KZ- Comment s'est passée votre expérience au Brésil, qu'est-ce qui vous a le plus marqué ?
Jinkwon- C'était la deuxième fois que j'allais au Brésil. En 2019, Newkid a participé au festival brésilien Hallyu et a rencontré des fans brésiliens et a passé un moment vraiment heureux.Cette année, je suis allé à un festival de samba auquel je n'étais jamais allé auparavant, et j'ai été profondément impressionné par l'enthousiasme du terrain. J'ai donc voulu capturer l'énergie que j'ai ressentie au Brésil dans le clip.

KZ-What anecdotes can you tell us about this 2022?
Jinkwon- 2022 was a year of constant challenges. Especially this year, I seem to have auditioned for a lot of dramas. Thanks to this, I was able to get a lot of experience while filming an original HBO Max drama in Brazil with Lee Minwook. Also, it is meaningful to be able to show my activities as a singer, before the end of this year. It was really fun to work on music after a long time, and I was excited every day at the thought of meeting the fans.
Lee Minwook- I worked hard to join the Newkidd member and show a good side in various fields of music and acting, such as the musical 'Wonder Ticket'. Recently, iI participated in the web drama also. I look forward to your interest in the future, and I am always grateful for your support.
KZ-Quelles anecdotes pouvez-vous nous raconter sur cette année 2022 ?
Jinkwon- 2022 a été une année de défis constants. Cette année en particulier, il semble que j'ai auditionné pour de nombreux drames. KZ-Which countries would you like to visit on tour?
Jinkwon- Wherever there are fans who love Newkidd, I would like to meet them in person in any country. Of course, we would like to show our stage in front of our fans by visiting places in Latin America that inspire us a lot. I want to enjoy not only the stage but also the cultures of each country, but Latin American food was so delicious.I thought of Latin food in Korea, so I looked for a restaurant specializing in Latin food.
Lee Minwook- The thought of being able to meet the fans one by one is so overwhelming. It always seems to give us a lot of energy and happiness. I want to meet fans from all over the world, including Latin America, who had a really happy time filming dramas and music videos.
KZ-Quels sont les pays que vous aimeriez visiter en tournée ?
Jinkwon- Partout où il y a des fans qui aiment Newkidd, j'aimerais les rencontrer en personne dans n'importe quel pays. Bien sûr, nous aimerions montrer notre scène devant nos fans en visitant des endroits en Amérique latine qui nous inspirent beaucoup. KZ-What are your plans for 2023?
Jinkwon- There were not many offline events due to the pandemic, but now I want to meet the fans in person and show the stage. In particular, I want to go on an overseas tour with the members in 2023. I also work hard in acting, so I want to receive the Rookie of the Year award next year!
Lee Minwook- My dream is to make you happy with this work that I love. In order to achieve that dream, I would like to approach you with a more developed and grown image in various fields such as singing, dancing and acting, as well as sports and guitar playing. I want to show the appearance of Newkidd Lee Minwook to fans around the world as soon as possible, so I am waiting with excitement every day.
KZ-Quels sont vos projets pour 2023 ?
Jinkwon- Il n'y a pas eu beaucoup d'événements hors ligne en raison de la pandémie, mais maintenant je veux rencontrer les fans en personne et montrer la scène. En particulier, je veux faire une tournée à l'étranger avec les membres en 2023. Je travaille aussi dur comme acteur, alors je veux recevoir le prix de la recrue de l'année l'année prochaine !
